TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
The Addictions Worker program at Sprott Shaw provides you with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills.
Throughout the program, you will learn to apply the principles of addiction, pharmacology and relapse prevention planning. You will also gain practical skills in intake, assessment, motivational interviewing and treatment planning. You will develop group facilitation skills as well as entry-level skill development in 1-to-1 counselling.
